Frequently Asked Questions
What’s the difference between rough and finish grading?
Rough grading gets the site close to design elevation; finish grading dials it in to the exact grade and slope needed before building, paving or sodding. We do both.
Can you work from engineered site plans?
Yes. We can grade to a surveyor’s stakes or engineered plans, and coordinate with your other trades to keep the project on schedule.
Do you supply fill dirt?
Yes, we can supply, place and compact fill dirt as part of your site prep, or work with material already on site.
Do you handle drainage as part of grading?
Often, yes — grading and drainage go hand in hand. We can shape swales and set culverts so water moves the right direction.
